Yahoo and Microsoft agreement finalized
I am putting it here because it is directly related to me: I work in Yahoo department that is in the epicenter of this (very likely) upcoming change:

From CNN news:

"Yahoo Inc. (YHOO) and Microsoft Corp. (MSFT) said late Friday that they have finalized their planned Internet search and advertising partnership agreement, following a brief delay.

Yahoo and Microsoft first announced the agreement in July but said in October that they were unable to finalize terms of the deal before a scheduled deadline. On Friday, the companies said they've "finalized and executed the definitive Search and Advertising Services and Sales Agreement and License Agreement."

The partnership is an effort to combine forces and team up on market leader Google Inc (GOOG). Yahoo is counting on the deal to help it significantly cut costs, while Microsoft sees it as an opportunity to increase its market share and compete more effectively with Google."
